I can't believe my youngest son is seven years old today.
It's hard to remember what life was like before he was born. Certainly it wasn't nearly as beautiful as it has been since.

the way you sometimes trip over your words in your enthusiasm to tell us all about your day
how you "just know" when someone needs a hug
the way you wrap your fingers around mine
your infectious giggle
the way you can't help dancing when you hear music of any kind
how you embrace every opportunity life gives you
the way you start laughing before the you've finished telling the joke
the way you help your sister
how you look up to your brothers
the way you wear your heart on your sleeve
how strong and brave you are
the ways you are so kind
A little piece of heaven was given to us seven years ago today.
