Winter Came Early This Year

I love this picture. It reminds me of one of my most favourite days. The air lay heavy with cold. The day was dark and still; announcing late in November that winter had come.

After hours outside, full of family and friends, the house was warm with laughter.

Hot chocolate, a crackling fire, snuggles on the couch....pure joy.
